This initiative aims to reduce clutter, improve traffic flow, and eliminate potential health and safety hazards caused by derelict vehicles left unattended on public roads.
🚨 Citizens Can Now Report Scrap Vehicles via Three Dedicated Mobile Numbers
To make the complaint process quick and accessible, the BMC has launched three region-specific mobile numbers where residents can send complaints via WhatsApp or SMS:
- City Division: 8828896903
- Eastern Suburbs: 7505123456
- Western Suburbs: 9819543092
Citizens are advised to include the location, photo, and visible vehicle registration number (if any) while sending their complaint. This helps the civic team in quicker verification and action.

Complaints are forwarded to the respective ward office, and after due verification with the traffic department, the vehicles are towed and processed for removal or legal action.
